This week the children in Year 5 have been taking part in Bikeability cycling sessions run by Northamptonshire County Council.
The first day’s training (Level 1) took place on the school
playground and they were taught how to control and master their bikes. Then during the following 3 days (Level 2) the children took their bikes out for on-road experience in
residential traffic in Kilsby.
At the end of the course we hope that the children will have learnt some valuable skills and will continue to enjoy cycling as confident, considerate and careful cyclists when out and about on the roads.
They have really enjoyed these few days.
