Easter Service

On Wednesday 23rd March 2016 Kilsby School attended an Easter Service at St Faith's Church, Kilsby.  During this service the children and staff said "Thank you" and "Goodbye" to Rev Doug who has been standing in as vicar for us for many months, and also to PSCO Lorraine who is retiring.  Both of whom have played big parts in school life, we shall miss them very much.  Also at the service the staff and children were pleased to meet our new vicar Rev Nigel Fry, he will be with us from Easter onwards. Here are just a few of the photographs taken at the service:

Cherry's Mother's Day Party

On Friday 4th March the children in Cherry class held a special party for their mums for Mother's Day!

The children worked really hard all morning in preparation for the party which was held in the afternoon in the main hall.  There was delicious food including cakes, biscuits, sandwiches, humous with vegetable sticks, etc.  The children sang a song, made space mobiles with the help of their mums and also each had a little message for their mum saying why they loved them.  We hope all the mum's had a really good time.  The children certainly did!
